What the State Police Do For You
The Connecticut State Police is an Internationally Accredited Law Enforcement Agency with over 1,500 full-time personnel, state-of-the-art equipment and capabilities, and internationally renowned programs.  The men and women of the Connecticut State Police provide law enforcement services for 12 strategically placed Troops across the State, including Bradley International Airport, with Headquarters located in Middletown.

The Connecticut State Police is the primary law enforcement provider, conducting both criminal and motor vehicle investigations, in 82 of 169 towns within the State of Connecticut.  They also have Commercial Truck and Traffic Squads in three districts.  In addition, the agency is known for it's cutting edge programs including Emergency Services, Community Policing, Traffic Enforcement, Fire Investigations, Forensic Technology and Computer Crimes.  Several Examples of how we provide assistance to local state and federal agencies are:
